Yarn: 2 skeins Cleckheaton Merino Supreme Superwash
Needles: size 7US 16" circular and doublepointed (or size that gives you desired gauge)
Gauge: 4sts=1" slightly stretched
Notions: yarn needle

The hat is worked in the round
CO (cast on) 88 sts. Join and place marker (marking beginning of the round)
Work in rib (*K2 sts,P2 sts, repeat from *) until piece measures 5.5" from Cast On edge.
(You can work 2,3 or more stripes if desired)
Crown shaping:
Round 1: (decrease round) *K2, P2 together, repeat from * to the end of the round
Rounds 2-11: *K2,P1,repeat from *to the end of the round
Round 12: * K2 together, P1,repeat from * to the end of the round
Round 13: * K1, P1, repeat from * to the end of the round
Round 14: * K2 together, repeat from * to the end of the round
Round 15: repeat round 14
Cut yarn, pull through remaining stitches twice, weave in yarn ends.
