Superbulky (2.5 sts/inch)- 60 yds for hat,200 yds for scarf
Needles: 13US for hat, 17US for scarf

Bulky (3 sts/inch)- 90 yds for hat, 300 for scarf
Needles: 11US for hat, 13US for scarf

Worsted (4.5 sts/inch)- 125 for hat, 420 for scarf
Needles: 7US (4.5mm) for hat, size 10US (6mm) for scarf
